La Crosse, WI

On Sunday December 21^st, 2025, at approximately 2:41am, La Crosse Police responded to the area of 300 3^rd Street South for a report of gunshots. No injuries were reported, but an individual reported their window to their vehicle had been struck while they were leaving the area. Officers were able to identify the suspect as Dominic L. Janzen (08/02/2003). Mr. Janzen was located in a nearby residence, taken into custody and transported to the La Crosse County Jail. Through the initial investigation this appears to be an isolated innocent. Mr. Janzen is innocent until he is proven guilty in a court of law.

This continues to be an active investigation.
