Looking for support with Parkinson's Disease? You are not alone. Many people find that support groups are tremendously effective in helping them cope with the day-to-day realities of having Parkinson's Disease. This support group is for care partners and persons who are living with a Parkinson’s diagnosis. Members will have an opportunity to ask questions, share resources, and learn tips from one another on how to proactively manage Parkinson’s. No pre-registration is required.

The La Crosse Area Genealogical Society and City of La Crosse Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department are hosting a free genealogy workshop intended for both beginning genealogists and for genealogists with experience who want to take their research to the next level. Tentative topics include Wisconsin Military Research, Documenting Sources and Using DNA to break thru an Adoption Brickwall.
American Sign Language (ASL) Programs

Michelle Gerlach grew up around the deaf community all her life and was fascinated to learn American Sign Language (ASL). Michelle believes ASL is a vital and valuable language to the deaf community, and as such, it is important to teach and share this language.

Learn simple communication with persons who are Deaf, such as the first 100 signs, the alphabet, finger spelling, colors, and more! Learn Deaf culture and sign language with ASL vocabulary, grammar, sentences with facial expression, Five Sign Parameters of hand shapes, and more.

Learn sign language with emotions, gestures, and body movement actions. Body language and ASL includes our mouth, eyebrows, and cheeks, all the way down to our elbows, bellies, and feet. These indicate our underlying feelings and intentions.
