Recreational Fire Permits:
      Can be purchased at Fire Station #2 (1400 La Crosse Street) with cash or check or via the website with debit/credit card.

Systems Related Permits:

  • Permit fees are double when work is commenced before obtaining a permit.
  • $150 re-inspection fee for missed appointments or extra inspection for non-compliance with inspector's orders (payable in full prior to re-inspection being performed.)
Sprinkler System Permit Application
  • Permit Fee:
          First 20 Sprinkler Heads: $150
          Each additional 50 Sprinkler Heads or fraction thereof: $25
  • Acceptance Test Fee:
          First 20 Sprinkler Heads: $125
          Each additional 50 Sprinkler Heads or fraction thereof: $50
          Fire Pump Test Fee: $200
Fire Alarm System Permit Application
  • Permit Fee:
          First 10 devices: $100
          Each additional device: $4
  • Acceptance Test Fee:
          1 to 10 devices: $125
          11 to 49 devices: $225
          50 to 99 devices: $325
          100 or more devices: $425
          Alarm Panel Only: $150
Commercial Kitchen Fire Suppression System Permit Application
  • Permit/Acceptance Test Fee: $200
Clean Agent Fire Extinguisher System Permit Application
  • Permit/Acceptance Test Fee: $250

  • Permit/Acceptance Test Fee: $175

Event/Inspection Related Permits:

  • Permit Fee: $125 per Event
